International quality reference
UNECE DDP-08 separates Extra, Class I and Class II quality classes from sizing. For Medjool, the moisture limit is 30%. Dates must be sound and clean, without live pests, visible mould or fermentation.
Ghazalco's commercial grades 1, 2 and 3 do not automatically correspond to these UNECE classes.
